It didn’t take me long today to find the headline for this entry because that is exactly what I feel today: Despair = complete loss of hope.
After spending six hours at an Internacionalization meeting of International coordinators from various centres of the University of Zaragoza, I returned home to find out that the teachers at my children’s primary school have voted against implementing a bilingual project which would involve offering 20% school hours in English.
Ingeniería: Llega la memoria MeRAM
La memoria de acceso aleatorio magnetoeléctrica (MeRAM) tiene una eficiencia energética hasta 1.000 veces mayor que las de memorias basadas en tecnologías actuales.
Usando voltaje eléctrico en vez de un flujo de corriente eléctrica, unos investigadores han hecho grandes mejoras a una clase de memoria de ordenador ultrarrápida y de gran capacidad conocida como memoria de acceso aleatorio magnetorresistiva, o MRAM.

CHRISTMAS
So it is Christmas time again and our English room has just been decorated for the occasion. Nights are long, lights are on and the fire is crackling. It is time to sit in front of the fire to think about the year that’s gone and to strengthen our hopes for the future.
